We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

  1. Hi! Here's the explanation from my first post, July 2005:\”Isn't the lettuce brave?\” comes from a workshop I recently attended at my national professional conference. The workshop's topic was American Sign Language Dysfluency in psychotic deaf patients…a fancy way to say that the language of a mentally ill deaf person is sometimes a bit wacky…but to me it's fascinating. Anyway, the lettuce quote was a response by a mentally ill person to a question posed by a clinician, and I just thought it was great!!
